Dr. Michael Klaper

Dr Klaper is a gifted clinician, internationally-recognized teacher & speaker on diet & health. In addition to his clinical practice & private consultations with patients, he’s a passionate & devoted educator of physicians & other healthcare professionals about the importance of nutrition in clinical practice & integrative medicine.

He’s also the author of Vegan Nutrition: Pure & Simple & has produced numerous videos, webinars & dozens of articles for both scientific journals & the popular press. As a source of inspiration advocating plant-based diets & the end of animal cruelty worldwide, Dr Klaper contributed to the making of 2 PBS television programs, Food for Thought & the award-winning movie, Diet for a New America. He teaches that “Health Comes From Healthy Living” & is dedicated to the healing & flourishing of all living beings & our planet.

Dr. T. Colin Campbell

T. Colin Campbell, PhD has been dedicated to the science of human health for more than 60 years. His primary focus is on the association between diet and disease, particularly cancer. Although largely known for the China Study — one of the most comprehensive studies of health and nutrition ever conducted, and recognized by The New York Times as the “Grand Prix of epidemiology” — Dr. Campbell’s profound impact also includes extensive involvement in education, public policy, and laboratory research.

He has received numerous lifetime achievement awards, including from the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), the Plantrician Project, and the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR), among other awards highlighting his courage and leadership. Most of these awards were enabled by tenure and academic freedom to speak.

Dr. Michael Greger

Michael Greger, MD FACLM, is a physician, New York Times bestselling author, and internationally recognized speaker on nutrition, food safety, infectious disease, and public health issues. Dr. Greger is the founder of the nonprofit organization, NutritionFacts.org, a public service that provides free access to the latest peer-reviewed research in nutritional science via bite-sized videos. Three of his recent books—How Not to Die, How Not to Diet, and How Not to Age—all became instant New York Times Best Sellers. His latest book, How Not to Age, was released at the end of 2023. All proceeds he receives from the sales of his books go to charity.

The inspiration for Dr. Greger’s work all started with his grandmother. He was just a kid when his grandmother was diagnosed with end-stage heart disease, and sent home to die. She already had many bypass surgeries, was scarred up inside; there was nothing more the surgeons could do. Confined in a wheelchair with crushing chest pain…her life was over at age 65. Then, she heard about Nathan Pritikin, one of the early lifestyle medicine pioneers, and what happened next is chronicled in Pritikin’s biography. Dr. Greger’s grandmother was one of the “death’s door people.” She arrived in a wheelchair. “Mrs. Greger had heart disease, angina, and claudication; her condition was so bad she could no longer walk without great pain in her chest and legs. Within three weeks, though, she was not only out of her wheelchair but was walking ten miles a day.”

As Dr. Greger grew older, he began to understand the significance of her near-miraculous recovery. As soon as we stop eating the artery-clogging foods that contribute to heart disease, our bodies can start to heal themselves. Dr. Greger made it his life’s mission to educate millions about evidence-based eating.

Chef AJ

Chef AJ has been devoted to a plant-exclusive diet for over 43 years. She was the host of the television series Healthy Living with Chef AJ which airs on Foody TV. A chef, culinary instructor, and professional speaker, she is the author of the popular book Unprocessed: How to Achieve Vibrant Health and Your Ideal Weight, which chronicles her journey from an obese junk-food vegan faced with a diagnosis of pre-cancerous polyps, to learning how to create foods that nourish and heal the body.

Her latest bestselling book The Secrets to Ultimate Weight Loss: A Revolutionary Approach to Conquer Cravings, Overcome Food Addiction, and Lose Weight Without Going Hungry has received glowing endorsement by many luminaries in the plant-based movement.

Gene Baur

A pioneer in the field of undercover investigations and farm animal rescue, Gene has visited hundreds of farms, stockyards, and slaughterhouses, documenting the deplorable conditions. His pictures and videos exposing factory farming cruelties have aired nationally and internationally, educating millions about the plight of modern farm animals, and his rescue work inspired an international farm sanctuary movement.

Gene was instrumental in passing the first U.S. laws prohibiting inhumane animal confinement and continues working on systemic food industry reforms. His work has been covered by major media outlets including ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, the New York Times, LA Times, and Wall Street Journal among others.

Gene Baur has been hailed as “the conscience of the food movement” by Time magazine and named one of Oprah Winfrey’s SuperSoul 100 Givers.

Dr. Kerry Graff

Hi! I’m Dr. Kerry Graff. I have treated thousands of patients who were sick and tired of being, well, sick and tired, helping them regain their health and vitality. The human body is fundamentally a self-healing mechanism, when you stop injuring it and give it what it needs to repair itself!

Kerry spent the first half of her career putting patients on medications, thinking she was “treating” disease. She’s dedicated the second half of her career to addressing the underlying cause of chronic disease and getting patients off those meds, through lifestyle medicine. She’s a firm believer that these principles create a foundation for true “health” care.

Dr. Barbara Vacarr

Barbara Vacarr offers something truly exceptional: heart-centered leadership rooted in compassionate inquiry.

For over 30 years, she has developed a vision of success that champions human development alongside organizational transformation, spearheading bold strategic initiatives that empower individuals and organizations to look within so they can call forth their highest selves.

Barbara’s passion is exploring what creates meaningful change in the world—a passion that has opened the door to a remarkable career in higher education and mental health. Barbara has acted as CEO of Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, president and CEO of Goddard College, and founding director of Lesley University’s PhD program in Adult Learning and Human Development. She’s served as an interviewer for the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education; was a project leader for the Cambodian Youth and Missing History Project; advises the board of the Findhorn Foundation; and sits on the board of the Berkshire Center for Social Justice. She is also the founder and senior leader of an intergenerational women’s mentoring collective and has been a regular contributor to Thrive Global and Medium.

Barbara was named one of 50 “Influencers in Aging in America” by PBS’ Next Avenue in 2016, and was presented with the 2022 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring individuals who have demonstrated leadership, excellence, and longevity within their respective industries and professions. She approaches all aspects of her life and work—whether it’s showing up for her family, running an organization, or mentoring entrepreneurs—from a deep commitment to leadership as a path of learning, growth, and creating new ways of being.
